A Touch of Turkey

So, we had the first project meeting, in Izmir, Turkey. The first chance to meet, to get to know each other and to see what our nice Turkish partners and now friends are working with disabled kids.
It was a very nice meeting, and the traditional Turkish hospitality made each of us feel like in a big family. Also, we got the chance to learn more about the Turkish culture and way of life, the nice city of Izmir and some of the history that let some deep traces in this region of the world.
For me, it was very interesting to meet the nice Lady who started the Sabahat Centre and who
still is the soul of this great organization and school. Also, it was great to meet the Nun who offers her help and always finds a way to do more for the Turkish kids.
Dear friends, thank you for the fantastic time you showed us!

But don't think that this was all! Sabahat Centre is a special place for the kids. Apart from all the facilities they have there, it was good to see their share of animal therapy: small animals and pets, but also horses and ponys. And the kids can really enjoy and have a great time with the animals!
